A New Look

We went to Brighter Side, a store in Solana Beach that specializes in wigs and clothing (mostly swimsuits, hats, and scarves), for women with cancer.

Sheila didn’t start out to happy. Actually she was kind of grumpy. She tried on several wigs, and when her mood wasn’t improving I had to resort to what I do when she’s having a bad time during her infusions. We started hugging, and I kissed her cheeks and eyes. Works every time. 🙂

She’s a natural blond, but she tried on redhead and brunette colors. Might as well experiment! We found one style that looks pretty good. She tried on one particular wig, the Mandarin, that elicited a low growl/purr from me. Pretty nice. 🙂 It’s brunette, extends past her shoulders and has highlights. Very different look. Really accentuated her blue eyes.

She liked it too, but it may be too much of a change. She ordered that style in a different, lighter color just to be safe. It’ll come in on Wednesday or Thursday.
